This essay will introduce five key influences on the establishing of education and care settings in Australia, the similarities and differences between the Quality Improvement Accreditation System and the current National Quality Framework. Maybanke Anderson and Lillian de Lissa as well as other people were pioneer who led the movement to early childhood education and care in Australia (OEDC,2000). Educational thinkers including Froebel and Pestalozzi and the associated development of preschool movements in Europe and America had significantly influence on Australia by the end of the 1890s (ibid.).
